19thc Suicide Girl

Here is a picture of a 19thc inspired pinup girl I am working on. Its on a 6x6 square of rubber meant to simulate skin. It isn't quite done yet but for my first tattoo I have ever done I think it could be worse I guess. I need to go to the butcher and get some pig skin. That should be pretty close to the real thing. So yeah this is what I have been up to lately. Enjoy.

  1. Oh wow! how fascinating this all is. I have wanted to try my hand at tattooing for a long time but was dismayed at how much the gun and supplies costs- maybe someday! in the meantime i will live through your tattoo journey. you did a wonderful job for that being your first! I wish you were closer..id let you practice on me!
    Goodluck with it all.

  2. Chelsea thanks for the kind words. I think you would take to tattooing pretty easy since you draw with a lot of line work like i do. Yeah it is pricey for sure. I got a good deal on the gun from the guy I will be apprenticing with, but the rest of the stuff wasnt too bad. I only have black ink so far. Colors I will get down the line. Thanks again, and I would definitely take you up on the tattoo practice offer if I could. But for now it will have to be pigskin. :)
